Brewing Help for the Hill Country

On Monday, July 28, 2025, the Krewe of Thalasar brought together a passionate community at the Naked Iguana Brewery in Galveston, TX, for a powerful cause—raising funds for Texas EquuSearch. Under the banner “Brewing Help for the Hill Country,” attendees gathered from near and far for an evening filled with live music, a silent auction, and great drinks—all in support of search and recovery efforts in Texas.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of everyone involved, we are thrilled to share that we raised $10,000 for Texas EquuSearch!

From beer and wine to canned cocktails and community spirit, the event was a shining example of what can happen when people come together to make a difference. The Krewe of Thalasar, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, has long been committed to supporting causes that matter. Partnering with Texas EquuSearch, a nonprofit that helps families find missing loved ones, brought purpose and heart to this festive fundraiser.
